No Medical Insurance

A disaster can happen when you do not have medical insurance. Do your medical bills grow before your eyes? How do you pay these bills when climbing medical can not afford it?
A disaster can happen when you do not have medical insurance for yourself or your family.
Do you think people do not have medical insurance because they do not want? Do you think it is frivolous?
-What happens when you:
(1) lose your job
(2) Get Sick
(3) Relocate ---.
When you need to make a decision on spending money on health insurance or food for your family --- Power --- wins hands down. If you are a full-time employee and you lose your job --- in general, you will lose your medical coverage too.
This is the time to ask your former employer who is my options to continue my medical insurance. Cobra can be purchased for a higher premium and for a short period only. This is a temporary measure until the next full - time employment.
When people work part-time are not eligible for health insurance through their jobs. Your employer is not dumb. Part-time employees not mean medical insurance premiums out of pocket. This means that you still do not have medical insurance for you and your family.
Low-income people:
You may be eligible for Medi-Cal or County Medical Services (cms.)These are the only two organizations funded by the government that can help you. You are preselected by the income and the amount of money you have in the bank. --- If you as an adult are not eligible for these agencies, your children could ---.
CHILDREN:
Children are easier to qualify for government assisted programs. There are several programs available for children based on their particular needs.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY:
If you qualify for one of these organizations do not fill out a form that is all you do. You must submit your visit and communicate paper work well with you. --- Otherwise, your application will be refused ---.
Medical insurance is obtained in its entirety - the use or buy yourself a private insurance company that is good for people who can afford massive bonuses.
INSURANCE COMPANIES:
When you purchase health insurance may be denied due to a pre-existing condition. This simply means that you have medical problems and medical insurance company will not cover these problems.
ALTERNATIVE: DISCOUNT CARDS
Discount cards are available through private insurance companies. Let me explain. You still pay a monthly fee, but not as much as your typical medical insurance premium monthly. When you go to a doctor or pharmacy, you get a cash rebate. --- The only problem is you have to pay to visit the doctor at the time of visit ---.
You must be careful when applying for this discount card, as all he could rip you off. So do your homework. These are becoming very popular.
EMERGENCY CARE:
These are medical facilities that take care of minor problems. Something serious would be subject to an emergency room.You'll pay for your health at the time of service.
211 Telephone
There is a new source of information within our reach, by calling 211. If this number is re-established in your area, a phone can connect to the mass of information. The people who respond to this phone number provides important information useful in everyday life.
Example: What is the phone number to Med-Cal? I do not have medical insurance and my child is sick, what should I do? Where can I get help for my child? Is there any free clinics available?
These people have all this information and more at their fingertips.
Hospital Emergency Rooms:
When you need medical care in the emergency room is where most people head. When you arrive at the emergency room, you can wait for hours to be seen by a doctor. When you are finally examined, the doctor may prescribe laboratory tests, x-rays, etc. These tests can turn into hundreds or even thousands of dollars. What is emergency surgery? What is to be a patient in a hospital for a few days or more? Medical bills begin to arrive!
MEDICATIONS:
Medicine has skyrocketed. When you do not have medical insurance you must pay the full amount or to live without drugs.
This is not a simple problem. We are talking about millions of people in this situation. --- There must be a solution ---.
Medical insurance companies do not want change. Pharmaceutical companies do not want change.
We --- the individual must take the first step to change the way medicine is obtained for everyone in this country, not just a few! As individuals, we must write our Congressmen to raise our state officials and local representatives of the federal government.
We need to change our medical insurance program. WE WANT HEALTH CARE FOR ALL. Not just a few.
